www.richardhofmanntrumpet.com
Hi - This page is under construction Summer 2008 News: I am currently preparing several articles for submission, including a discussion of the questionable authorship of the Etudes for Trumpet perhaps by Brahms; an analysis of the idiosyncratic characteristics observable in the solos of Woody Shaw, and an in-depth analysis of "Masks" by Dana Wilson, which will result in a lecture-recital I plan to give this fall - check back for details/postings! I am also setting up online trumpet lessons for students unable to come to Los Angeles to study in person - please check back for details to be released soon!
